Holiday Beauty Picks

After years of holidaying and searching for product after product that wouldn’t leave my skin feeling greasy yet gave enough coverage over sun-tanned skin, I feel as if I have finally found my perfect holiday beauty routine. So I wanted to share with you my favourites from my recent holiday to Spain.

Piz Buin Tan & Protect SPF30 Of course it’s a no brainer. SPF is essential. Fact. I find this sun cream to be one of my top favourites thanks to its non greasy formula and amazing summer smell.

Lancaster Tan Maximiser for Face After showering this is my go to facial product. My t-zone is prone to burning so a high SPF is essential as is proper after care. This facial after sun is a great moisturiser to keep skin hydrated and peeling at bay whilst also maintaining your natural tan.

No.7 Beautifully Matte Primer During the day I don’t like to wear make-up however at night, I like to enhance my look and glam up a little. To do so, a base to my make up is crucial. This primer has an extremely matte texture (so matte it can be quite tough to apply) which keeps shine at bay (another absolute essential when on holiday).

Bourjois BB 8 in 1 Cream As for make up, this revolutionary BB cream is my must-have for an evening out. It has just one universal shade which adapts to your skin tone on application, giving you peace of mind in terms of coverage but not nearly as heavy as foundation.

Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder This cult product seems to be present in almost every girls cosmetic bag and I can see why. It’s the perfect bronze for brushing shine away and adding an extra glow to your skin. For me, the perfect holiday bronzer.

Rimmel Wonder’Full Argan Oil Mascara This mascara is great for natural, healthy looking lashes. With its organ oil infused formula it keeps lashes looking de-clumped and gives that ‘barely there’ look.

H&M Vanilla and Apple Lip balm After seeing several beauty bloggers praise this product, I decided to try it for myself. It’s a great balm for holidaying as it applies extremely easily, giving a slight sheen to your natural lip colour. Not forgetting of course it tastes amazing!
