Christmas in Strasbourg

This weekend I got my christmas on and visited the famous Strasbourg markets. I was recently contacted by online clothes store Boutique of Molly to review something from their site. I chose the dora swing dress as I’ve been wanting a dress like this since the style first came to my attention at the start of the season. The lace up detail at the front has been seen everywhere on the high street at the moment, on bodies, dresses, vest tops etc, making this piece in particular bang on trend.

What I love most about this version is it’s versatility. With it’s small nod to the lace up trend (minus the plunging neckline like some of the other versions out there) and its swing style, it evokes a much more classy feel and allows it to be taken from day to night.

On such a chilly December day, I wore it with this woollen cape and faux fur snood from Zara and a pair of thigh high boots.

It was the perfect day to get me in this christmas spirit here in France as my countdown to my return home begins! What are your plans for christmas? I’d love to know your thoughts and comments on the post below.
