As much as I’d love to be able to shop Prada on the regular, my bank balance says otherwise. From the re-edition nylon bags, to its chunky loafers, Prada has been killing ready-to-wear lately. If like me, you adore the brand and their iconic pieces, but perhaps don’t want to fork out a small fortune on a bag or pair of shoes, read on for the best Prada dupes I’ve not only found, but bought for myself.
PRADA Re-Edition 2005 & 2000 Bags
Prada really hooked onto the nostalgia trend with its collection of reissue bags. And whilst £750 is considered good-going in the world of luxury handbags, it’s still an awful lot of money. My favourite from the collection has to be the Prada Re-edition 2005 Re-Nylon Mini Bag in Desert Beige. And so, I went on the hunt for a suitable dupe. Enter the Monki Shoulder Bag in Beige: a gorgeous yet practical little number which just happens to be on sale right now for £8…go, go, go!
Prefer the Re-Edition 2005 Cross-Body style? ASOS has a much more affordable version in black whilst Steve Madden’s interpretation includes a matching detachable zip purse just like the original.
PRADA Cleo Bag
Another reinterpretation of an iconic 90s design of the brand, the Prada Cleo bag is a minimalist dream with it’s sleek curved lines and rounded bottom and sides. But costing a huge £1,850, it isn’t exactly the bag for everyone’s budget. I’ve done the hard work for you and found the best dupes on the high street right now.
PRADA Loafers
Of course, we couldn’t have a Prada dupes post without mentioning loafers. Essentially a chunky black loafer with the iconic Prada logo in an undoubtedly butter soft leather, it’s a difficult shoe to match. But not to worry as there are some great dupes out there including THOSE River Island Black Croc Embossed Loafers you’ve probably seen on Instagram. As always, I’ve searched for several alternatives below.
