Chilly season is finally upon us! I don’t know about you but as soon as the weather turns and autumn officially arrives, my mindset switches immediately to pumpkin spiced lattes, days spent watching every Harry Potter film and of course, faux fur. Glamify recently reached out to me to style a piece from their brand new A/W’21 collection and I fell in love with the Esmae PU Leather Faux Fur Hooded Coat.
I think the faux fur coat can be quite a tricky piece to style. All over fur coats can be quite bulky (I love them but I always feel like Big Bird from Sesame Street in them), so I thought I’d try a more slimming style. Enter the Glamify cream PU leather and fur mix. The fur trim nods to the trend without feeling too heavy whilst the leather look body and arms styled with the tie belt helps accentuate your figure.
In terms of styling, for the first time wearing this piece I went all-out boujee and I have no regrets. There’s something about cream fur and an all neutral look that screams elegance so I opted for white skinny jeans to balance out the coat, a roll neck sleeveless knit top and cream boots (accessorised with cream bag and 60s style sunglasses of course).
Alternative styling options would be to go for straight leg jeans to play with the overall shape of the outfit, or even styled over a cute winter dress, bare legs/tights and chunky boots.
