You’ll all be pleased to know I’ve finally been on my city break to Barcelona so I can shut up about it now! Well, that is until my next holiday. I live for travelling and holidays, whether it’s city breaks or beach hols and I’ve got so many exciting plans coming up which I can’t wait to share with you all! Anyway, the first of my holiday posts, I’ve put together a Barcelona city break look for you…enjoy!
Culottes are my go-to holiday piece, especially when it comes to what to wear on a city break. They’re the perfect item for keeping cool in the blistering city heat (and to stop dreaded chafing – is there anything worse?!). I also love them for the airport. They’re the perfect transitional piece, keeping you warm on the air-conditioned plane, to cooling you down as soon as you land. I styled these Primark ochre coloured culottes with a little black broderie bralet and double strap sandals.
I feel like this outfit just screams city break chic. Cool culottes, comfortable sandals and the practical bum-bag make it ideal for long, hot days exploring new cities. Shoes you can spend a long time in are essential, as is a bag which can keep all your belongings safe and away from pickpockets. Belt bags are great for this. They keep your valuables secure and close to your person whilst still being bang on trend. This black chevron number is from Primark and is a dead-ringer for the Gucci Marmont Belt Bag (another amazing Gucci Dupe)!
My whole outfit (aside from the sandals which are Birkenstock dupes from Office), is from Primark so obviously I can’t link you! I have, however, found so many similar items to what I’m wearing and put them together for you below! My necklaces are from Rani & Co., an amazing brand by the amazing blogger Ramona from Eat Sketch Love. Her designs are so pretty and SO affordable. Plus her feminist slogan t-shirts are the best. So if you’re after some beautifully made jewellery that’s not from the high-street, check out Rani & Co.!
Where are you off to this summer? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments!
