Khaki Khaki

I recently wrote about my love for the neutrals trend that graced the catwalks and high streets this summer (if you missed the post, have a read of The New Neutrals) and with the British summer developing into a complete washout, that love of toned down colours has remained. If you’re struggling with what to wear in this unpredictable weather, khaki is a great versatile shade. It will help you embrace the season’s trends whilst the colours don’t look OTT in the not-so desirable weather outside.

An over-sized shirt is a great piece to wear when the weather isn’t so summery. I styled this khaki number from Urban Outfitters over a simple white crop top, keeping it open as a jacket. Paired with black ripped skinny, it makes for the perfect summery grunge look.
As you may know from my previous post, I’m obsessing currently over layered necklaces. This silver and dark grey set from New Look worked really well with this outfit, again helping to give that grunge vibe.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the post so let me know in the comments below! Happy weekend!
