This week saw the arrival of snow here in the UK and so out came my woolly knits. I love a cosy jumper in winter and have a few favourite styles which I always revert back to year in year out.
The Fluffy Knit
This is actually a new piece that I bought this season from Primark but I’ve worn it non-stop! Primark is my go-to high street store for cosy, affordable jumpers and this winter was no different. I’ve bought several mohair style jumpers and uber soft fluffy knits in various colours from the store and they’re yet to disappoint me.
I styled this grey and white flecked knit with a pair of black leggings and black suede boots from Aldo. To accessorise, I wore my chequered monochrome Urban Outfitters scarf of the moment (I love it!) – a perfect, laid back winter look.
The Christmas Jumper
No wardrobe is complete without a christmas jumper. There has been so many vibrant patterns available this christmas with Primark offering flashing reindeer noses and all sorts! I own a much modest style from Topshop with a simple heart, fair isle design and zip detail on the cuff, which I styled with a white shirt underneath.
The Classic Turtleneck
Another of my favourites is the classic turtleneck. I wore this black Next number with my beige Massimo Dutti trousers on boxing day for a clean-cut, tailored look. I love simple, classic pieces which never go out of style, like the turtleneck, and I’ll definitely be purchasing more like this when I revamp my wardrobe for the new year.
